With customer-facing projects, there is not a lot of opportunity for high quality work as there is more focus on budgets and timelines. There is also a lot of tech debt for some projects and codebases that are not up to par with industry standards or practices.

My role, in the sales team as a graduate is quite limited as a certain amount of experience is required to be on the front lines dealing with important (limited) prospects. However, the work I do get are the points that a person with no sales experience is expected to do; set up meetings up with lower tier prospects/customers, produce material to support the sales team by way of research and conversations with internal team members, join in on certain customer meetings to learn and support selling, map processes/journeys and come up with strategies to implement improvements.
