Culture at Cenitex

9.5
9.5 rating for Culture, based on 25 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Everyone is very understanding, there is a lot of transparency from the top with CEO live updates; there are also several activities such as hackathons and cultural events every once in a while.

Super inclusive, diverse and supportive.

The company's culture is one of my favorite things. The work type is hybrid which means from home some days and at the office with the team the other days. The team is always together and friendly. If you are having problems with a task or the workload in too much, other team members are open to help. The structure is good to understand responsibilities, but people are humble and open to teach things. My team have lunches together every time we are at the office, and Social Club, part of Cenitex, I have done social activities after hours.

Everyone I have met at Cenitex has been pleasant, professional, and easy to work with. There are a few after hours events. I haven't attended them but am told they are relaxed social events. Despite their being a work hierarchy, the "higher ups" treat those reporting to them with respect like a fellow peers. It's nice to see people like the CEO speak to others and even remember their names. When people come into office most are happy to chat with their friends and make jokes. It feels relaxed, there's no animosity.

The office environment is dynamic, collaborative, and open. We foster a culture of continuous improvement where new ideas are welcomed and explored. Employees' growth is invested in through training programs, workshops, and opportunities for advancement. We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We have flexible working hours and regular social events.

During office time, we try to keep in contact to make our work transparent across the team, this is a little harder when we're working from home but it still gets done and you simply have to do your part. The support for not only your work but your wellbeing is very visible as people are quick to try to get to know the life you live outside of work. Leave if you have to go see someone from your family for example is immediately encouraged.

The culture is really inclusive and supportive. I always feel so supported whenever I request assistance from anyone within the company. The commitment and action on promoting diversity and inclusion throughout the workplace is really wonderful as well.

A few words can be used to describe the company's culture: Innovative, Inclusive and Supportive. All the teams I have worked with are quite supportive. Also, I have grant lot of support from Graduate Program, such as ratation information session and trainings.

Most of the people are kind and helpful. few are cunning, but reaching 100% efficiency is also not realistic, so no issues on that.

One of the things I got sold even after joining the role in Cenitex was culture as its multicultural and there are many things we celebrate on nearly each month through the Diversity and Inclusion group called the cultural group and we love how even the executive directors become Assistant chef to the people who are not at their same level when there was a cooking show in Office. Volunteering is like at the top most as everyone loves being part of the process in making sure the whole event goes smoother.

Our company operates on a relatively flat organizational structure, which means that everyone's voice is valued, regardless of their position. We believe in open-door policies, encouraging team members to interact with leadership without hesitation. This approach promotes transparency, allows for quick decision-making, and creates an environment where innovative ideas can flourish. Building strong connections among our team members is a priority for us. Beyond office hours, we regularly organize social events and team-building activities. These range from Friday evening gatherings to sports tournaments, charity initiatives, and cultural celebrations. These events allow our employees to relax, bond, and build lasting friendships, contributing to a positive work environment.

Silohed working, culture is slow to change, little engagement from people. Socialising in the form of small talk is there, very little socialising outside of work hours, no Friday drinks etc

The culture is positive, during the day teams work closely to achieve the desired results for our customers. After hours Cenitex has a Social Club that actively organizes out-of-work social activities.

In the office, teamwork is generally strong and staff socialise well, albeit often only within their own team/circle. Cooporation levels are high and it helps to know people. Outside of hours, culture is accepting and fun, with a number of social club events. Overall there is a hierarchical structure, though senior staff are still approachable when time permits.

Culture inside is great, it's cosy, the people i work with feel like they're my friends, there's a good amount of socialising but we always know when it's time to get to work and when results need to be shown. I've been very lucky to have been working with team leaders who try to create a hospitable and healthy environment for their teams. After hours it's great, we have plenty of social events sometimes even during work hours, there's always moments to network with other in formal and informal situations.

The team structure is quite flat and always have open communication with Team Lead and managers. The working environment is great, nice facilities and kind people. Here is quite inclusive in terms of cultural backgrounds. We have culture stream that will hold events of cultural festivals, and social club organizing events for all staff after working hours.

Structure and Hierarchy - No issues with Hierarchy - Structure is often confusing with a lack of clarity over who is responsible or accountable for what. Cooperation and Teamwork - My immediate team is very good with teamwork and cooperation - Other teams can often be helpful - Cooperation can be hit and miss depending on the employee assigned to a specific task. Socialising Amongst Colleagues - Within my immediate team there's a lot of socialising that occurs - Within the general company there's a weak effort to attend office related functions.
