Cell Care has been gathering, processing, and preserving cord stem cells for over a decade. To date, the parents of over 200,000 babies have entrusted their cord blood with the Cell Care group.

The organization is fully licensed by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) to conduct the collection, processing, storage, and release of autologous (a child’s own) and directed allogeneic (from a sibling or compatible family member) cord blood stem cells, along with ABO blood group testing.

Operating out of a purpose-built, cutting-edge stem cell laboratory and storage facility in Heatherton, Victoria, Cell Care is dedicated to providing the highest standard of service and care in the field of stem cell preservation.

Rewarding role collecting cord blood stem cells for future/clinical trials.

Join us in a unique and specialised role at the forefront of medical science.  We are extremely passionate about cord blood and tissue collection, storage, preservation, and research and currently have several vacancies for energetic and vibrant casual cord blood and tissue collectors.

Collecting samples of maternal and umbilical cord blood and tissue samples at the time of birth you will require exceptional venepuncture skills obtained over a minimum of 2 years’ experience.  You must also demonstrate strong communication skills, being able to fully engage with all stakeholders in a multidisciplinary, maternity healthcare setting. Knowledge of the birthing arena as either a nurse or midwife is advantageous but not essential.
