Gender Equality at Cargill Australia

Our focus is to accelerate Cargill’s progress toward ensuring that the workforce is diverse and everyone feels included.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) have always been important to Cargill. We know the work is never done, and our commitment continues to get stronger as we aspire to do more and reach higher ground.

To turn that commitment into action, we are taking a more holistic approach to how we measure our DEI progress. We recognize that true impact includes not only representation but also access and equity to drive a meaningful impact for all. By evolving our perspective, we aim to foster a culture of inclusion where every individual feels welcome, valued and heard.

The newly refreshed holistic DEI goals are focused in four areas:

  • Improving frontline workplace environment
  • Accelerating progress in gender parity and underrepresented minorities
  • Cultivating a culture of inclusion and equity
  • Deepening supplier inclusion and supply chain equity

Cargill’s People Strategy was developed to enable Cargill 2025 by accelerating growth and becoming a customer-driven organization. DEI is a core pillar in this strategy. We believe that by putting people first, we create the commitment, inspiration and capabilities that allow our employees to put customers first.
