Our founder, Damon Ashton started in the healthcare industry in 1993 managing group homes for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (formerly the Spastic Centre of NSW). He progressed to management positions within the industry but soon became frustrated with the low levels of compassion and service delivery from many providers. In 2006 Damon made the decision to change how care was being administered to our most vulnerable members of the community – People with disabilities, frail and aged and those with acquired and often lifelong injuries.
Care1 has established itself as a major supplier of staff to the disability, aged care and nursing industries. The Salary is based on years of experience as well as relevant education paying a base rate of between $28-$35 per hour, as well as afternoon/evening/weekend/public holiday/overnight rates. We provide ongoing training and support.
