Childcare Permanent Full Time Educator -TAFE Students Preferred null

Bondi Beach Cottage Childcare is seeking experienced Educators to join the team! We are looking for passionate, knowledgeable, dedicated educators who have a can do, positive attitude and an excitement for learning. Applicants will have the opportunity to come and take a look at our facility through the interview process. This role is for a permanent full time position.

About us

Bondi Beach Cottage is a not for profit community organisation, established in 1984. Our centre caters for both permanent and casual care children aged 0 – 5 years. Our centre has a family run day care feel, with the security of a centre-based care. Our children are predominantly 0-3 years, with 20 children total each day together as one room, dividing into separate spaces for age appropriate activities when required.

The Opportunity

As one of our educators, you will have the chance to assist in development, planning and implementation of a quality child care education program based on your knowledge of each child, their interested and goals through family input and in line with the EYLF & NQS. You will be creating a stimulating, positive and nurturing environment to foster and support each child’s development and will be communicating positively and openly with children and their families on an ongoing basis. You will be providing physical care assisting children in their daily routines and meal time, as well as responding to their emotional needs. Our team create a fun, professional and supportive environment, and you will be part of this, maintaining up to date records for each child within the group and working together to ensure the best possible programs and highest quality care for all children.

Requirements Applicants must have: 

• Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent 
• A current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates (or willing to obtain) 
• A Current Working with Children’s check 
• COVID vaccination certificate 
• The ability to work positively within a team 
• A highly motivated, flexible and reliable attitude 
• A desire to become a part of a strong, passionate team of educators 
•  Exceptional communication skills
