Bails Paw Assistant Trainer

The Bails Paw Assistant Trainer plays a major role in our training Programs in particular our Behavioural Adjustment Training Programs, Puppy School and Beginners where needed.

If the application is successful they will be offered a volunteer position to begin with, once they have learned the basic skills and show they are the right person for the job they will be offered a Paid Casual Position, the grade of Animal attendant - introductory level Casual.

As their skills develop, the grade will increase therefore increasing the pay rate.

Continuous Education and Training is provided on the job. Many opportunities arise for those who are keen to continue to develop their skills. These can include general dog walks, Walk and Train Opportunities, and Running our Puppy Parties.

All Staff are offered discounted equipment and discounted services that we provide.

The type of candidate that we are looking for is something who has an interest in Animal Behaviour, happy to do a lot of cardio exercises, has great communications skills, is able to follow instructions and shows intuitive and quick thinking.
They will need to be available during the week and possibly sometimes weeknights or weekends, this can be discussed in the interview.
