Babies by the Bay was established by Renee Humphry and Ben Dransfield, a couple who had a passion for creating meaningful and boutique childcare services which stemmed from starting their own family.
They wanted to create something that could be the hub of what is now known as Babies by the Bay Legacy. To build within the community a safe space where children not only can grow. But also be nurtured by a team of educators who knew how intricate and powerful early education can be. With the service only being licensed for 29 children per day catering for ages 0-5 years, it was the perfect start to Babies by the Bay.
After opening their first centre in Double Bay in 2010 which was located in the heart of the village on the harbour foreshore. This was followed by the purchasing of the Little Palace Preschool South Cronulla in 2012 which became Babies by the Bay Cronulla. Situated in a Californian Bungalow home in a beachside location adjacent to Darook Park and Gunnamatta Bay.
