Apprentice Toolmaker - TAFE Students Preferred null

We are currently seeking a 1st year apprentice to join our experienced team running a modern well equipped toolroom.

• Good mathematics skills
• Mechanical Aptitude
• A true desire to succeed in a trade 

This position is hands on with training provided by our highly experienced and skilled tradespeople. The successful candidate will also be required to attend TAFE and will receive a Certificate III in Engineering and a Mechanical trade certificate upon completion specialising in the trade of Toolmaking. 

There is no HELP debt accumulated for the Cert III in Engineering so this is an opportunity to gain a valuable skill while earning a wage.

Remuneration

Above Award  base rates  all levels of applicant whether you are a school leaver or a mature age candidate. There is also a weekly tool allowance which increases each year. The hourly rate will be adjusted each year as your trade competencies are achieved on the job and at TAFE.
