Ideal Candidate Qualities Include:

  • Good knowledge of species traits
  • Ability to determine the most appropriate remedial actions to attend to specific tree defects
  • Pest and disease identification and current treatment options
  • Methodical approach to tree assessment based on observation first and opinion second

Our Current Consulting Arborists And Their Skills

Our highly professional team includes 10 full time consulting arborists (L5 - L8) who provide a deep pool of skills, knowledge and experience on all aspects of arboricultural consulting. The consulting team is supported by an equal number of Admin, IT, Sales and Management staff. Every staff member takes great pride in the company, its ethos and future prospects.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications And Training Include:

  • AQF Certificate L5-L8 in Arboriculture or equivalent
  • ISA or Arboriculture Australia membership
  • QTRA and/or TRAQ training and current certification
  • Working With Children current certification
  • First Aid certification

Ideal Previous Experience Could Include:

  • Operational tree works contractor familiar with all aspects of operations and quoting
  • Arborist / Climber
  • Tree crew leader or regional team leader
  • Council tree management officer
  • Freelance consulting arborist
  • Private practice consulting arborist
  • DA reports and detailed tree condition reports
  • Tree surveys and CAD tree protection plans
  • Environmental or ecologist consultant

Ideal Systems Knowledge Include:

  • PC systems environment and associated desktop tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • AutoCad (or other CAD software)

Remuneration & Career Growth

Salary for AQF L5 Arborists range from $55k to $120K
