Angelo's is an Icon in the Inner West. We have successfully been open for over 30 years and are renowned for being authentically Italian as well as serving Modern Australian dishes. We offer both a relaxed casual dining experience as well as more formal function events.
Located on the waterfront at Hen and Chicken Bay, we can seat up to 150 guests, and are usually fully booked on a weekend over the summer months as our customers take advantage of our amazing menu, location and superior customer service.
Our kitchen is well organised with team members afforded appropriate space and tools to work their stations. We generally operate with a friendly team of 6 including our head chef, sous chef, chef de partie x2, commis chef and assorted kitchen hands.
We trade 5 days a week with our weekends being our busiest period.
Our teams at both Fronts of House and Back of House work extremely well together, supporting each other to ensure our guests enjoy their time in our venue. We are different to other restaurants in that we have created a reputation with diners and the local community of being consistently excellent with our customer service and food offering.
Our head chef is a strong supporter of career development and mentoring, and is committed to sharing his extensive knowledge to help his team develop their skills.
We are committed to sustainable work practices including recycling and waste minimisation.
Successful applicants will be selected based on experience, attitude and commitment.
Remuneration is competitive and based on both the Restaurant Award and experience. Career development is strongly encouraged with rotations within the kitchen included when appropriate.
