Recruitment Process

Step 1:  Submit your application 

Click "Apply now" button.

Make sure you include the following in your application:

  • a cover letter (in your own words) on why you wish to apply for this role; and
  • a résumé that outlines your achievements to date and include your most recent school report, if you are still at school or have recently left.

 You should also include any supporting information on the marks that you attained, courses that you attended, any part-time/full-time employment to date, your hobbies and interests and the names and details of two referees.

Step 2:  Screening process

We will review each application form, cover letter and resume thoroughly, and consider a variety of aspects such as academic achievements, relevant work experience, extracurricular activities or volunteer work.

Step 3:  Video interview and assessment

If you are successfully shortlisted, you will be invited to complete a short video interview. 

We will further review candidates upon completion of the video interview.  

If you are selected at this stage, you will be invited to attend a personal interview in our Brookvale Showroom.

At this point, it’s a good idea to start thinking about:

  • The reasons why you want to join Amped Automation
  • What aspects of the role that you most interested in and think you’re most suited to
  • Any work experience or previous study you’ve done that supports your application 

4:  Pre-employment checks

If you are successful after the interview, we may invite you to undergo pre-employment checks. These will include reference checks, academic checks and police checks.

Please note this stage does not mean you have been successful – but it does mean you are one step closer! 

Step 5:  Offer of employment

If you are successful – congratulations!

You will receive a telephone call to talk you through everything you need to know about joining Amped Automation. You will then receive all relevant documentation including a letter of offer and contract via email.
