5. Offer and Onboarding

  • Offer Letter: If you’re successful, you’ll receive a formal offer outlining your role, salary, and the perks of working with Affinity Survey, including mentorship, career development plans, and the use of a company-provided resources.
  • Onboarding: We’ll guide you through our onboarding process, which includes an introduction to our team, familiarization with the tools and technology we use, and setting up your personal development plan.

Remuneration & Career Growth

Remuneration:

Gross Salary Range: For graduate and early talent roles, the starting salary typically ranges from AUD $70,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and performance during the recruitment process. This package is designed to reflect the responsibilities of a Graduate Surveyor, with room for salary growth as you advance to a Site Surveyor or higher.

Diverse Career Pathways: Affinity Survey offers a variety of career paths, from technical expertise in site surveying to leadership and management roles. As your skills develop, you can explore team rotations, work on different types of projects, or even move into leadership positions.

Promotion Timelines:

  • For top-performing graduates, promotion to a Setout Surveyor can happen within 12 to 18 months, depending on your performance and dedication.
  • Further career advancement into senior surveying or management roles typically takes 3 to 5 years, but ambitious and talented individuals may be fast-tracked based on their contributions to the company.

Travel and Exposure to High-Profile Projects: While the initial role is based in the Newcastle area, Affinity Survey is involved in projects across NSW, offering you the opportunity to travel and work on a variety of exciting tier-one construction projects.
