Recruitment Process

  1. Steps in your recruitment process:
  • Interested persons to submit a CV, cover letter with all relevant documents
  • Phone Interview for approx. 10-15 minutes with NSW Service Manager
  • In-person interview with Service Manager & Admin for approx ½ hour where candidates meet with the team and provide some further information about their goals and achievements.

 2. The Selection criteria:

  • Be committed and self-motivated, with very good organisational skills
  • An ability to self-manage tasks as required & ability to co-operate with senior technicians by taking instructions and learning on the job
  • Current WHS Card & Working at Heights Certificate preferred. A Grade Access can also assist with gaining these certificates.
  • A good level of computer literacy
  • Excellent communication skills

Remuneration & Career Growth

Remuneration and Career Growth for Apprentices in A Grade

 

  • For new 1st year apprenticeships, starting salary is $50,000 pa plus super. Total package valued at $55,000 (an all-in salary including super, all award allowances and leave loading).
  • Salary and bonus reviews are conducted annually in line with performance.
  • Opportunity to work in the unique industry of BMUs (Building Maintenance Units) within highly specialized teams, with regular team rotations and exposure to a range of plants & equipment including highly complex and high-tech machines.
  • Opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and their sites in servicing, training and operating their BMU’s.
