Your role

Worley is looking for Environmental Sciences undergraduates in their penultimate year of study to join their paid 12-week summer internship program running from November 2024 to February 2025.

As part of the Worley Graduate Community, you will be supervised and mentored by experienced staff within the Structural engineering department. This role will provide you with experience in the delivery of engineering services to Worley and its customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Participate in the delivery of Structural engineering services that meet Worley', its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Assist in performing Structural engineering services such as contributing to appropriate studies, analyses, and recommended actions, as well as assisting with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with the Structural engineering team and project stakeholders.

About you

To be considered for this role you will need to be undertaking a recognized, relevant engineering degree or equivalent that will lead to registration as a Professional Engineer and be in your penultimate year of study

  • Some knowledge of technical and practical Structural engineering skills.
  • Some knowledge of the fundamental requirements of Structural engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  • Developing skills in Structural engineering-specific software.
  • Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office.
