About the Role

As a Graduate Software Engineer in Test with the Workday Planning Quality team, you will be part of an innovative and fast-paced scrum team delivering value for Workday Planning customers. Embedded within a scrum team, you will work closely with other test engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to create and review test strategies, write test cases, test new software features. You will also take responsibility for automating the regression coverage of both new and existing software features. All the while, you will broaden and deepen your knowledge and understanding of the software development lifecycle and high-quality software engineering, be provided career and role-related mentorship, and be encouraged to take ownership of the quality of Workday software.

About You

​Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed (within 12 months) a Bachelor or Master’s degree by November 2022
  • Have majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field
  • Working knowledge of Python or Java
  • Prior internship, coursework, or relevant project experience
  • Passionate about problem solving
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to adapt to changes quickly
  • A strong desire to learn
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and database concepts
