WITRON Service Australia are excited to be opening their second Australian site at Kemps Creek, NSW in early 2024. With construction well underway, we are now seeking passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as Automation Operators at Kemps Creek on a full-time basis.
Working as part of a cross-functional team you’ll primarily support daily operations by resolving system faults of both technical and operational nature to maximize system performance.
Your role in our team
- Monitoring, operation, fault correction, and housekeeping of automated material handling equipment in a fast-paced production environment
- Clear machine faults in a timely and efficient manner using logic, which may include working at heights of up to 30 metres wearing appropriate PPE.
- Literacy, numeracy, and IT proficiency to read, understand, interpret, and maintain data and fault information within the system with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and hygiene.
- Partner with, and support, the maintenance team to ensure that the machines remain in excellent condition and notify them of any anomalies.
The ideal candidates must have
- A genuine interest in automation and technology, with the aptitude to learn new concepts and procedures.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating shift work (including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays).
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Meet the physical requirements including:
- Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time.
- Working at heights of up to 30 meters (wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE).
- Lifting, pulling, pushing up to 25kgs unassisted.
- Visual acuity to interpret light systems for fault finding that include red, green, blue, white and yellow.
