Discover White & Case

An internship is a great way to experience first-hand what life is like as a trainee at White & Case.

As a part of our four-week internship, you’ll be welcomed into our team, where you’ll undertake a number of meaningful and challenging tasks.

Throughout your internship, you will:

  • Learn about the Firm and our practice areas in Hong Kong and the wider Asia-Pacific region
  • Discover our training contract, including our overseas seat opportunities
  • Join in social events, network and get to know our people
  • Do real client work: draft memorandums; write client alerts; research areas of the law; and attend meetings or court hearings
  • Learn about different practice areas and deepen your knowledge of the law
  • Have continual support and feedback through your allocated supervisor (partner), mentor (senior associate) and buddy (trainee)

About You

There is no typical White & Case intern or trainee, in fact we actively seek out people with a range of attributes to further enhance our already globally diverse teams. In saying that, alongside academic excellence, there are certain attributes that we know are proven for success:

  • You have a global mindset
  • You are ambitious and driven to succeed
  • You are a team player
  • You are client-focused
  • You take initiative
  • You have integrity
