Our Program

We’re looking to fill our programs with original thinkers and innovators from all degrees of study.  Challenging and rewarding – our programs will get your career off to a flying start.

Eligibility

You must be Australian or New Zealand Citizen OR an Australian Permanent Resident, AND be in your final year of study of a university degree OR completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree no more than 3 years ago.

You’ll need to be available to start with us as a permanent employee in February 2023.

Our Finance & Accounting (Rotational) Program

Westpac Group's Finance & Accounting teams span the entire business and are pivotal to the success of Westpac Group. We view our Finance & Accounting graduates as our future leaders.

This is an 18 to 24-month program with 6-month rotations.  We will provide opportunities for you to choose rotations that interest you. From strategy and enterprise services to global shared services finance teams, your rotations will be designed to provide you with on-the-job training, as well as specific technical training and soft skills to support your career in Financial Services. 

To cement your standing as a professional, you are required to undertake your CA or CPA qualification, which we fully fund based on passing grades.

Some examples of areas in which Finance & Accounting graduates are now performing across our business include:  Outlook & Board Strategy Review, Product & Business Advisory and Wealth Management.
