The Opportunity

An amazing opportunity to begin your career in an extremely rewarding global supply chain operation. 

As a member of our Supply Chain organisation you will ensure customer demands are being met and variations are considered well in advance to ensure safe and efficient delivery.  You will gain an enhanced understanding of the shipping industry, specific to oil tankers with part of the role ensuring all ships are approved by Viva Energy and relevant Third Party personnel for discharge of product at respective Terminals around the Australian coastline. 

You will join a team who is planning for the future, a team who is working on the energy transition and what it means for our supply infrastructure, exposed to commercial markets through our Energy trading team, gaining insights into oil and gas commodity trading.  You will be constantly challenged to provide innovative solutions and asked to proactively communicate with counterparties.  Above all else, you will learn and grow by working with industry leading professionals.

A recent graduate with Bachelor degree in Finance, Commerce, Science or Engineering, you will have knowledge or keen interest within supply chain, logistics, economics or scheduling of supply chain operations. You will be an analytical thinker with excellent problem solving and stakeholder management skills. You will have good verbal and written communication skills and be keen to gain experience within the energy industry and gain or build on transferable experience in supply chain operations. You will be curious by nature and innovative in your thinking whilst delivering our counterparties excellent service. You will love collaborating, have good influencing, verbal and written communication skill and be proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
