A career with Viva Energy is more than just a job!  It’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger.  The opportunity to join an amazing team committed to supporting our evolving energy needs and helping to build and secure a sustainable energy future for Australia.  Our future plans will support the diversification of our business and a transition to sustainable, lower-carbon energy solutions.  At the heart of our plans is people's power.  People who want to grow and evolve with us.  People with the brightest minds, boundless energy, new perspectives and the passion to take Viva Energy and their careers forward. Someone like you?

The Opportunity - Viva Energy Technical Team

The Viva Energy Technical Team works closely with Sales and Marketing within the business to provide technical advice and deliver value added services for our fuels and lubricants customers. These services aim to uncover cost-saving opportunities, reduce downtime, increase reliability and deliver new technologies and solutions to our customer base.

The technical team currently consists of 27 staff members nationally who have a wide range of experience and are subject matter experts in a variety of sectors and applications. It’s also a great team and learning environment for a Graduate who wants to develop valuable skills and knowledge as the team has over 463 years of cumulative fuels and lubricant experience which is one of the most experienced in the Australian marketplace.  This ensures that Viva Energy customers have access to some of the most skilled professionals and technical advice that will assist their teams and operations.

Our local technical team is part of a 4 tiered support structure to provide our customers with a range of online, office-based, and field-based technical support that is backed by Shell Global Solutions experts. In this role, you will provide technical support and solutions to our fuels and lubricants customers in the oil & gas and mining sectors, as well as industrial customers in power, paper and manufacturing. You will help resolve lubrication and equipment issues, be at the forefront of new technologies and deliver global best practices in lubrication solutions.
