In my first year at Velrada, what I found most rewarding was the chance to work on a variety of challenging projects.

What's your job about?

I joined Velrada in July 2021 as a Graduate Analyst. Over time, I’ve had the chance to grow and learn so much, and now I’m a D365 CE Technical Consultant. In this role, I get to use my technical skills to help our clients implement and get the most out of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions.

I chose Velrada because of its stellar reputation for delivering top-notch digital transformation solutions. I was really drawn to the company’s use of cutting-edge technology to tackle complex business problems, which matched my career goals perfectly. Plus, Velrada’s supportive and collaborative environment and their focus on continuous learning made it an ideal place for me to start my career.

What's your background?

Outside of work, I have a few hobbies that keep me balanced and energized. I love being outdoors, so you’ll often find me hiking or playing tennis. It’s a great way to stay fit and enjoy nature. I’m also a big reader, especially when it comes to science fiction and tech books—they keep me inspired and up-to-date on future trends. Cooking is another passion of mine; trying out new recipes is a fun and relaxing way to spend my time. These activities help me unwind and come back to work with a fresh perspective and renewed energy.

What's the coolest thing about your job?

In my first year at Velrada, what I found most rewarding was the chance to work on a variety of challenging projects. This hands-on experience allowed me to apply what I had learned in school to real-world situations, which was incredibly fulfilling. The support and mentorship from my colleagues was also invaluable—they helped me navigate the complexities of my tasks and grow professionally. Seeing the successful outcomes of the projects I contributed to was a great feeling and really reinforced why I chose this career path.

3 pieces of advice for yourself when you were a student...

If I could go back to when I first joined the graduate program, I would tell myself to take every learning opportunity seriously and not be afraid to ask questions. Engaging with mentors and colleagues is key to professional growth. I would also remind myself to be patient—mastering complex systems takes time. For future graduates, I would advise them to stay curious and proactive. Dive into projects, seek knowledge actively, and don't hesitate to ask for help. The more you engage, the more rewarding your time at Velrada will be.
