TRAINERS AND ASSESSORS

Scots College provides vocational education in Business, ICT and Agribusiness courses. Its aim is to provide the highest possible standards of excellence in all aspects of our education delivery and to be a positive force behind students in the fulfilment of their study and career goals.

THE ROLE

Based at Scots College, Bellevue Hill, we have a great opportunity for trainers and assessors, experienced to deliver ICT40120 Certificate IV in Information Technology (Programming) in intensive mode in 2023.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • ICT40120 Certificate IV in Information Technology (Programming) (essential) or higher vocational qualification.
  • AE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (essential)
  • Relevant and current industry experience in information technology.
  • Strong facilitation skills to deliver to Year 10-12 students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • The role is flexible and contracted, working intensively throughout the year. The volume of delivery will depend on qualification to be delivered – minimum 200 hours p.a. The role is face-to-face.
  • Working with Children Check
  • Education or corporate training experience is desirable but not essential.

Pay rate: $36 per hour
Type of Contract: Casual

Candidates must demonstrate positive support for the Christian values of a Presbyterian GPS School.

Pre-employment checks:

Successful candidates must have a current NSW Working with Children Clearance. Information on obtaining a Working with Children Clearance Number can be found at the Office of the Children’s Guardian.
