The Get Into Construction programme will run over 4 weeks at the Prince's Quarter in Glebe, Sydney; an exciting new social housing project that is creating a genuine and sustainable home for those that need it most. 

Successful participants will receive their White Card, First Aid training, PPE and King’s Trust Achieve Training over one week before getting hands-on with various trades during three weeks paid experience on-site with KANE Constructions in Glebe.

Last year, King’s Trust ‘Get Into’ programmes helped more than 3,000 young people secure jobs in industry. Apply now to secure your place today.

Dates: The programme will run for 4 weeks from the 27th of May to the 21st of June, with week 1 spent getting training and safety gear, and weeks 2-4 getting hands-on with KANE Constructions on-site in Glebe.

Location: Glebe, Sydney, New South Wales

Who can apply: Enthusiastic young people that want to gain experience and learn what it’s like to work in Commercial Construction. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people are also encouraged to apply. Applicants must be fit and able to work on a construction site.

Pay: You will be paid the award rate for your age for your work on site with KANE Constructions (3 weeks). You will also be provided with PPE, White Card, First Aid and Achieve training valued at over $500 funded by the King’s Trust Australia.
