The Human Resources Department at Junee Correctional Centre is seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety Professional to join our team.
This role is responsible for the management, implementation and coordination of the Safety Management System at Junee Correctional Centre. You will work closely with Managers and Contractors to develop and implement safety systems, processes and initiatives to support safety, health and risk improvement strategies within the Centre.
Our work place is unique offering variety in the WHS portfolio with working Industries (wood &metal fabrication, bakery, textile and farm) as well as the day to day operational correctional environment. Overseeing the injury management and staff well being function you will support and offer guidance to the Injury Management/HR Coordinator in their role to enhance employee engagement through key safety and well being initiatives.

This is a permanent full-time role with flexibility in work hours for the right candidate.
Salary for this position is $110,000 per annum plus superannuation.
