We are on the hunt for a kick-ass Creative Intern (non-kick-ass need not apply).
The Event Space is a dynamic event management company specialising in corporate events. Working
across a range of industries, The Event Space are specialists in creative activations and corporate
events.
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:
- Are a visual thinker with a creative flare.
- Have an understanding of creative design and layout.
- Are able to work collaboratively & autonomously.
- Can think outside the box and offer creative input.
- Can multitask between a number of concurrent projects.
- Have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to be develop trust and maintain effective working relationships.
- Have a passion for design/events.
- Are proficient in PowerPoint.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Provide support to the Senior Creative Manager.
- Creative research, ideation & concept development.
- Assisting SCM with creative client proposals, including image sourcing, creating mood boards, creative direction, formatting documents, set design & brand packs.
- Creating mock-ups to sell a design concept.
- Involvement in team brainstorms and creative sessions.
- Providing support to event managers and coordinators under direction of SCM.
- Event styling preparation & onsite styling (in a Creative Intern capacity).
- Assisting SCM with selecting visuals for social media.
- Management and meeting documentation of the team weekly WIP meeting.
- Forecasting on trends & inspiration
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Currently studying design, interior design, events or creative marketing.
- 2-3 days/week.
- Willing and able to proactively get things done – we’re talking managing your own timelines and ability to work independently.
- You are incredibly organised and have great attention to detail.
- Work well in a team and willing to learn.
- Have a positive & can-do attitude.
