Position Description

They are looking for a dynamic candidate that is willing to learn the ins and outs of dental assisting and practice management. They are a family practice and they would love to have someone who can add to their friendly work environment.

Responsibilities:

• The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting dentists with a variety of dental procedures.
• This includes preparing the room and materials used in the various treatments, cleaning the room, and ensuring the disposal of all equipment correctly.
• The Dental Assistant is also responsible for assisting with the procedures e.g. passing instruments, operating suction equipment, and assisting the dentist with putting the patient at ease.
• This role also involves front desk duties such as taking phone calls, replying to emails, managing bookings, taking payments, and orders, and reporting to dentists.
