Sheet Metal Worker - TAFE Student preferred null

The Copper & Zinc Roofing Company is a privately owned, boutique roofing company which specialises in the application of copper, zinc and aluminium cladding to high-end architectural buildings.

Our fabrication workshops are currently equipped with 3 and 6 metre folders, a brake press, a guillotine, and a roll forming machine and produce roof and wall panels, specialised metal tiles, flashings, rainwater items, etc to our on-site team of roofers. We also fabricate benchtops, doors, etc.

CZRC are currently seeking sheet metal workers to expand our team of highly skilled workers.

Relevant qualifications:

• Apprenticeship in certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Light Fabrication)
• Current drivers' licence.

Main tasks:

• Read workshop orders as they come in, prioritising and creating cutting lists.
• Measure, cut and fabricate orders and other materials to be delivered to site.
• Slit and fold flashings, roll form sheets, soft soldering where necessary.
• Coordinate deliveries
• Deliver to site.
