      Outline of the role:

      The Direct Marketing Unit and the Supporter Experience Unit are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic volunteer for the position of marketing administration volunteer, mainly to support the Gifts in Wills team and Supporter Care team to enhance supporter relationships.
      Based at our head office in Woolloomooloo you will report to the Gifts in Wills and In-Memory Officer, as well as to the Supporter Operations and Volunteer Coordinator and will undertake a variety of tasks – including general administration, writing letters and cards, mail sorting & packing and more – to maintain and develop relationships with our supporters.

      Tasks within this role include:

      • General administrative tasks including data entry, mailing, filing, etc.
      • Donor servicing project management – extract data and manage the list for donor servicing project – birthday cards
      • Learn and use our CRM system
      • Providing general events and marketing support
      • Archive and store previous data
      • Liaise with Gifts in Wills team to manage the collaterals of mailing packs
      • Prepare net sent file data for the birthday cards
      • Data cleansing in the CRM
      • Liaise and report to the volunteer supervisors in the Direct Marketing Unit and the Supporter Experience Unit
      • Ad hoc tasks if/when required including writing greeting/seasonal cards & packing and packing

      Our ideal volunteer will have:

      • Basic skills in Microsoft Office
      • Attention to detail
      • Good communication and listening skills – verbal and written
      • Desire to help others
      • Understanding of confidentiality
      • Great team worker and can work autonomously
      • Commitment to attend training and team meetings if required
      • Be available 1 day a week

      Desirable:

      A person who can commit to ongoing and long term volunteering

      This role is voluntary and does not attract any financial remuneration. We are looking for volunteers for ongoing and long-term general administration. Initially, we would like someone who can volunteer for 1 day a week – a minimum of 6 months or longer.
