Cancer Council NSW is a community-funded, community-focused cancer charity dedicated to working towards a cancer-free future. There are things that we can all do every day to help make this happen. 
This role supports the production and delivery of Stars of the EAST Community in Sydney. Must be available on Saturday 4th of June. We are looking for someone available in the month leading up to the event to support the preparations as well as available throughout the event day to look after our amazing event volunteers.

Outline of the role:

The key purpose of this role is to provide administration and event assistance to the Community Relations Coordinatore leacing on the Stars of the East event, and in turn support the organision in its vision of a cancer-free future.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Helping staff prepare documents and assisting the events team with administration tasks in the lead up to events.
  • Assisting with communication with event participants pre and post events.
  • Maintain adequate supplies for events as appropriate.
  • Design marketing collateral as required.
  • Maintain sound knowledge of Cancer Council NSW Fundraising Guidelines.
  • Working with the team, help support the delivery of creative content 
  • Attend planning meetings and contribute to actions
  • Adhere to Cancer Council's branding guidelines
