Outline of the role:

The key purpose of this role is to provide administration and event assistance to the Community Operations Administrator, and in turn, support the organisation in its vision of a cancer-free future.

Key accountabilities:

  • Helping staff prepare documents and assisting the events team with administrative tasks in the lead up to events.
  • Coordinating mailouts and content for Email Direct Marketing campaigns.
  • Assisting with communication and distribution of kits to event participants pre and post events.
  • Database Management with an in-house database. This includes data entry, running reports and updating records.
  • Maintain adequate supplies for events as appropriate.
  • Design marketing collateral as required.
  • Maintain a sound knowledge of Cancer Council NSW Fundraising Guidelines.

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills
  • An interest in events and the not for profit sector
  • Personable and considerate
