Be a Cancer Council event volunteer

Cancer Council NSW believes in a cancer-free future. Cancer Council NSW's key strategic priorities are research, prevention, information and support, advocacy and fundraising. Our people undertake the work of Cancer Council NSW in line with the values of innovation, responsibility, courage and collaboration.

Volunteers are critical to the success of Cancer Council NSW and comprise over 85% of the 'workforce'. Volunteers deliver a range of programs and services that support the community and ultimately help to deliver Cancer Council NSW's mission.

As an event volunteer you can join the set-up-, running and pack-up of Cancer Council events, join in on activities and help make these events really special for the community. Common Cancer Council events are Relay For Life, Stars – Dance for Cancer and more. Please speak to someone if you want more information about an event or how you can volunteer on the day. This is a great opportunity if you don't have a lot of time, can't commit to something ongoing or are new to volunteering and you want to give it a go. The event volunteers are crucial to ensure the events run smoothly.

Come and join as an event volunteer to be a part of wonderful events around NSW. For more information please contact Rebecca on 02 9354 2004 or Rebecca.Cannell@nswcc.org.au.
