The Role

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, your role will be to provide technical expertise on a wide variety of public and private sector projects. This position offers exposure to a number of landmark projects and excellent career progression opportunities.

About You?

Ideally you will be a degree qualified engineering professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving.

You will have:

  • An Australian tertiary engineering qualification;
  • 0 or up to 2 years’ local experience in structural engineering design;
  • Must have full working rights in Australia i.e. Australian citizen or permanent resident;
  • Building related experience – commercial, residential, government, public buildings and retail;
  • Knowledge and understanding of Australian regulatory requirements;
  • A can-do attitude;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate well with senior management, clients and relevant authorities and build rapport and relationships;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • The ability to multi-task and work within a motivated and busy team;
  • The initiative to self-start and take control;

Ideally you will also have:

  • Experience in RAM Concept, Microstran, STRAND 7, Revit and RAPT or similar programs (or the desire to learn!)
