About the Organisation
Talus Academy is a leading after-school STEM education center that enriches the community in Western and South Western Sydney. We provide specialized education in four streams: Programming, Physics, IOT and Robotics, and Internet Safety and Digital Privacy. Our curriculum is tailored to students from ages 6-16.
Your Role
As a part-time educator, you will:
- Conduct specialized courses in Programming, Physics, IOT and Robotics, and/or Internet Safety and Digital Privacy.
- Assist in curriculum development and keep up to date with the latest technologies and teaching methods.
- Monitor student performance, offer feedback, and adapt teaching strategies as required.
- Engage students through a tailored, comprehensive, and engaging approach to STEM education.
Training, Development & Rotations
- Initial orientation and training program to familiarize you with our curriculum and teaching methods.
- Regular training sessions and workshops to further your educational skills and knowledge.

About You
- Currently studying in a TAFE course related to IT, Technology, Education, or similar fields.
- Passionate about STEM education and have some prior experience in teaching or mentoring.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and eager to learn.
