Are you currently pursuing a Cert 3 in Sheet Metal Fabrication and eager to build your career in the industry? We have partnered with a leading company to find a Sheet Metal Apprentice to join their team located in South Windsor. In this hands-on role, you will gain valuable experience in HVAC ducting fabrication while learning from seasoned professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of duct and pipework.
• Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Support with lagging – applying insulation and metal sheathing to ductwork.
• Operate machinery and tools under supervision to cut, bend, and weld metal.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Experience:

• Currently enrolled in or recently started a Cert 3 in Sheet Metal Fabrication or a related field.
• Basic understanding of duct and pipework fabrication.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in a collaborative environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and high work standards.
• Willingness to take direction and work as part of a team.
• Driver’s License and own reliable transport.
• Own personal protective equipment (PPE) is preferred but not essential.
