Your Superpowers:

We are looking for an experienced Childcare Director who shares our vision and purpose, committed to leading a service that ensures every child achieves their best outcomes no matter what their ability.

Your strong people leadership will support a team culture where team members love to come to work and provide educational and empowering experiences for children aged 0 – 6 years. You will demonstrate our values with contribution, respect, choice and safety and belonging, implementing new ideas, ensuring high level of health and safety.

For a successful superhero landing in this role, you will be a calm, confident professional who love to have some fun and supports the children and team members to help them lead the way in their own learning, encouraging the development of strong relationships and engagement of families.

Essential Superpowers:

  • Strong people leadership and communication skills
  • Director experience in Children's Services, early child care and/or school-aged children.
  • Excellent problem solving, influencing and relationship building skills
  • Confident leader of effective change and high-performance work environment
  • Solid business acumen, report writing and data analysis
  • Excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated commitment to the rights of children with disabilities to be included
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the job
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Education or equivalent/higher education qualifications with NESA accreditation
  • Solid knowledge of child protection and legal regulations for child care centres as well as before and after school care
  • Ability to develop, implement and evaluate programs for 0-5 years
  • High-level computer literacy and office administration skills; including timesheets and payroll. Accounts management for families within a childcare management system online.
  • Solid knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Regulations and the ratings and assessment accreditation process ACECQA.
  • Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, First Aid Certificate required (HLTAID004)
  • Current Unrestricted NSW drivers' licence
  • Current Working with Children clearance
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Cleared Police Check
  • Full COVID Vaccination and required boosters
  • Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
