Sydney Contracting Engineers, SCE, is an Australian family-owned engineering firm with its directors having more than 80 years of combined engineering management experience. SCE is mainly involved in the design, consultation, construction, report writing, certification, civil and building construction, and maintenance. New and expanding areas of interest include renewable and natural resources to improve the quality of life.

We, at SCE, are looking for an enthusiastic person being responsible for designing and building the interface, navigation, and aesthetic of websites for our business.

Responsibilities:
• Conceptualizing creative ideas with the engineering team.
• Testing and improving the design of the website.
• Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
• Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for our company.
• Working with different content management systems.
• Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
• Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.

Requirements
• Studying Engineering, IT
• Hands-on graphic design software
• Familiar with front-end development web programming languages (HTML and JavaScript).
• Good understanding of content management systems.
• Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
• Creative and open to new ideas.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
• Excellent communication skills.
