Essential Criteria:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• NSW Electrical Licence
• Driver's license (Provisional as a minimum requirement)
• Experience in supervision of apprentices or other staff members
• Minimum two years experience as a qualified electrician
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Tech Savvy with job management software Aroflo or other
• Diligence in safe work practices
• Strong time-management skills
• Full working in Australia rights

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Plan the layout of wiring systems in residential, commercial and industrial environments.
• Test for, locate and repair electrical faults.
• Install electrical and electronic control systems.
• Install electrical equipment and appliances.
• Install solar control systems.
• Install solar equipment and appliances.
• Install, services and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration units.
• Connect switches, outlets and other fittings.
• Connect circuit breakers and upgrade switchboards to current standards.
• Preventative maintenance and testing.
• Data cabling installation and testing.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
• Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
