We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Diploma in Children's Services Educator to join our team. As an Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our early childhood education setting. This position requires a deep understanding of child development, curriculum planning, and effective teaching strategies tailored to the needs of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
  • Observe and assess children's developmental progress and prepare reports as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, incidents, and achievements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification).
  • Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma training).
  • Working with Children Check (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passion for working with children and promoting their holistic development.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in a similar role within an early childhood education setting.
  • Knowledge of National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Ability to engage children through creative and play-based learning experiences.
  • Knowledge of Child Safe Standards in practise
