The Role

Stihl Shop Stanmore is seeking a reliable Small Engine Mechanic to join our small and close-knit team to lead Workshop operations. As the Small Engine Mechanic you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of the Workshop by the Shop’s strategic plan, values, operating budgets, and policies. 

You will be primarily working with Stihl machines like mowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, grass trimmers, etc. 

Star date: as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert professional customer service and advice
• Assist at the Shop front with customer enquiries and sales
• Diagnose, quote, repair, service, test and clean machines 
• Use digital software and other tools to diagnose and troubleshoot issues 
• Order and maintain spare parts for the workshop
• Receive, assemble and occasionally deliver machines 
• Interpret technical manuals to conduct repairs 
• Maintaining a clean, healthy and safe workshop environment
