With that in mind, State Street will be looking to realign and reposition the sales and client organization to maximize distribution across both new and existing clients, this role holder will be an important agent in the implementation and success of our new sales and client organization.

As a member of the sales team for GlobalLink you will:

  • Working with the GlobalLink sales team and, where appropriate, the global team to execute the GlobalLink Strategic account plan and successfully achieve an assigned revenue budget while contributing to the larger Global Link goals and initiatives.
  • Using innovative ways to drive client satisfaction and thus increased market share.  Ensure that client feedback and enhancements are vetted, specified accurately, and escalated as necessary.
  • Assisting the Sales team in client onboarding and specific client liaison initiatives.
  • Be responsible for ad hoc, specific, client-facing initiatives.
  • Risk Excellence. Operate in compliance with internal and external regulations and make sure that escalation procedures are followed. Be mindful of the risk excellence culture at all times.

About you

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Able to perform across multiple processes in parallel with effective prioritization of tasks in a high-pressure, fast-moving, environment.
  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written) at all levels of an organization with both external and internal clients and service providers, proven ability in building relationships is therefore essential.
  • Prior experience within trading solutions and/or technology sales, dealing with Banks, asset managers, Hedge funds Insurers, and Corporates, and experience within the foreign exchange or related markets is desirable.
  • Proven ability to drive new initiatives and ideas forward.
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative fashion to ensure an excellent level of client service
  • Persistent negotiation and breakthrough ability and resolving client problems
  • Fully aware of all procedures, best practices, escalation policies, and other codes of conduct relevant to the execution of the role, with proven high ethical standards

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree required and/or relevant professional qualification of 2+ years experience in trading technology or related markets; foreign exchange or money markets is a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong computer skills, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
