Sustainability at Stantec Australia

We sometimes do have sessions for sustainability efforts

We are an environmental department but we waste a lot of paper.

The company is dedicated to its sustainability policy and reducing its footprint

We have a well-arranged waste collection and disposal systems. Our waste samples and other household wastes gets disposed into respective bins, which are then collected for disposal on a monthly basis.

The company has environmental and sustainability targets to align with their values.

Designers and PM try to use more sustainable materials. Stantec is trying to lower carbon emissions with future projects.

Each office of Stantec has sustainable bin for staff to collect the recycle materials.

The company has offices where possible that make travel via public transport easier, and promotes recycling etc.

Reminding emails and trainings regarding sustainability activities always pop up in my email calendar. Regular notices from leaders on this matter also help me understand the importance of keeping the environment better.

As a service we officer sustainable building, energy and road design. on a office by office basis we have green at Stantec that works on sustainability at an office level for composting and recycling.

We do our best to align with a sustainability standard.

The company is very conscious however there is always room for improvement - such as office temperature being too hot, screens automatically staying on, too many office lights

Organization is working in the right direction regarding the sustainability.

Stantec has done many projects with a focus on sustainability and climate change, but is not as radical as may be needed to fight climate change.

A recent presentation indicated many ways that our company could reduce its impacts so I think its heading in the right direction.
