they are really good

The managers are very busy with more important work and rarely get a chance to check in with the grads. There is a severe lack of feedback and recognition from the higher ranked staff, even an air of avoiding praising the younger staff out of insecurity from a couple of people. Mid-level managers are much better at this, they have more interaction with us and actually know what we're doing a lot more. Could definitely do with more praise or constructive criticism, as I am early in my career and unsure of my performance or standing at the moment.

Managers are always accessible. Good mentors

The managers are accessible, great mentors, they approach communication well and also provide praise and feedback but I believe they are quite busy to provide it as much as I would like.

I would say, my managers are good managers. Leadership and mentorship they provide give me as an individual the courage to work harder and better without fear, as they always have my back and provide me with the best technical knowledge when on the job/projects.

Managers are one of the best people at Stantec. Easy to talk to and good mentors. only thing that needs to be improved is that they need to pay more attention to enhance the skills of the graduates.

Our group leader is very accessible, always checking in on us and leads by example. He does a great job at making sure our team is working in a safe and inclusive environment that allows all of us to put in great effort and complete great work as a result. My supervisor is always readily accessible and schedules monthly catch up meetings to make sure I am on track with everything.

Some are amazing very great mentors, very supportive and they give great feedback and recognition.

My manager is always fast respond, and we have regular catch up to dicuss my work, life and any questions I have. I also have made an internal mentor with one of the female leader. The experience and suggestions she has is priceless for me.

I see my manager every day and can have conversations/raise concerns if I need to. I don't feel micro-managed and also feel that my manager wants to help me progress professionally.

Personally, my manager is great.

They're one of the best managers I've ever had in my entire short career life. Very friendly and connecting to you in every way. They're good mentors, approachable, professional, also provide feedback, praise and recognition to the work that I do. Absolutely love it!

Most I've worked with have been really good. Particularly the ones I work with. Can't speak to others but my Team lead in particular is really good as a mentor. Open and honest communication, good advice and guidance, and provides actionable feedback for you to take in and work on.

I am very happy with my line manager, I feel she has my best interest in mind and aims to work towards my goals. the hierarchy of management means there are a range of steps and people to go through for movement. I feel some resistance to transferring / lateral career movement options from my higher up manager
