The Job: 

As a Demonstration & Activation Specialist you will be part of our Market Development Team working out in the field visiting stores and End Users across South-Southwest Sydney.

Your duties will include:

  • Promoting products through demonstration and instruction
    Training Staff members on the specifications of all products
  • Conducting Distributor and End User training/demos at SBD Field Days, Training in store, End User’s sites and at major trade events
  • Maintaining a range of clean and workable power tools, accessories and materials for the purpose of demonstrations and training
  • Providing instore support including liaising with customers, merchandising and product demonstration
  • Be prepared to stay 2-4 nights a month away from home with occasional evening & weekend work.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

The Person:

You Will:

  • Have strong technical aptitude gained through working as a Tradie, in retail hardware, studying a relevant course or through a passion in DIY projects.
  • Possess the confidence and clear communication skills to present product initiatives to end users
  • Ideally have some experience in product training to either internal or external parties
  • Preferably have experience working in a customer service role within a hardware environment or similar
  • Most of all have a passion for working with Power Tools & Hand Tools
