Your Role

In this diverse role, you’ll make a lasting impact by providing the guidance and stability essential for their development. As a Support Worker, you will play an integral role in the daily operations of our site, making a real difference in the lives of our clients. By working closely with Case Workers, you’ll help implement client-centred case plans that support individuals on their path to recovery and stability.

  • Casual Position: Rotating 24/7 roster, covering, morning, afternoon and sleepover shifts - offering great work-life flexibility!

You will be joining a passionate, close-knit team that values inclusiveness, collaboration, and professional growth across a variety of services and programs. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in entering and assessing new clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Provide a safe, welcoming environment for all clients, fostering trust and dignity.
  • Support clients by offering casework assistance in collaboration with Case Workers.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients with external agencies as needed.
  • Perform various tasks including serving meals, supervising activities, transporting clients, and managing accommodation-related duties.
  • Maintain accurate client records, case notes, and the daily Communications Book.

You Will Need

  • Relevant Certificate, equivalent experience, or current enrolment in tertiary studies in a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focus.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to remain calm in crises or emergencies.
  • A current First Aid Certificate.
  • A compassionate, non-judgmental attitude towards clients and staff, with a strong commitment to ethical conduct.
  • Knowledge of Work Health & Safety (WHS) legislation.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including day, afternoon, and sleepover shifts.
  • Drivers Licence.
