Your role as Sorting Area Supervisor:

In this part-time role of Sorting Area Supervisor, you will be part of a new hub in Taminda 2340 that will provide stock to 7 satellite stores. You will primarily be responsible for the efficient sorting and appropriate pricing of stock. Utilise your proven knowledge of fashion brands and pricing expertise to maximum advantage to ensure high quality merchandise are available to our valued customers. Work with an effective sorting system and your superb organisational skills to effect timely delivery of stock to stores. 

The role's key responsibilities include:

  • Train and supervise sorting volunteers.
  • Ensure that all related activities including: sorting, pricing, and storage are efficiently undertaken according to procedures.
  • Process internal and external customer orders; and coordinate timely delivery of stock.
  • Maintain the general cleanliness in the sorting area.
  • Ensure that work, health and safety standards are complied with at all times.
  • Maintenance of sorting equipment, ensure that it's in good working condition.
  • Ensure appropriate level of consumables i.e. coat hangers, tags etc. are maintained.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrate knowledge in clothing brands and prices.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build a positive, motivated and successful team.
  • Experience in rostering and stock management.
  • Friendly manner and good personal presentation.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to quality customer service
