Your new role as Retail Sales Assistant: 

We are looking for a great employee with retail experience to assist with the daily operation of the store and to provide efficient customer service.  In addition to assisting customers in-store, you will also support the administration of the Vinnies eBay store. Days and time committed to assisting the online store are Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays, from 9 am to 2 pm.  

You will be instrumental to the success of Vinnies' online store. To make this happen, Vinnies will rely on your keen eye for details, good knowledge of quality products and brands, superb presentation skills and drive to provide customers with the best online shopping experience possible. You will work at Vinnies in Waverley where you will have access to a wide range of stock.  

About the role:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with Vinnies policies and procedures
  • Replenish stock on the sales floor
  • Use your creative flair in assisting with visual merchandising
  • Sort and price items according to Vinnies pricing guidelines
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets of the store.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility and availability during weekends and peak times
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Energetic drive to support the team in achieving sales targets
  • Understanding of fashion and trends
