St. Michaels Golf Club is situated 20 minutes drive from Sydney CBD and is easily accessed via M5, it is situated at Little Bay, La Perouse in Botany Bay National Park and is a Group 1 Sydney Golf Club. We are currently midway through a major green renewal program seeing 2 new green complexes’ completed each year.

About the Job

No prior experience is necessary for the right candidates. The personnel required would be expected to carry out general duties on a day-to-day basis required in golf course maintenance. You will be expected to liaise with the course superintendent and assistant on the daily upkeep of the course.

Successful Candidates must have;

• A good work ethic
• An understanding of the fundamentals of golf.
• An understanding of W.H.S. standards and an eye for detail when working in the golf environment.
• 4th-year apprentices are encouraged to apply. St. Michaels Golf Club heavily promotes the development of staff and further education is made accessible to all interested staff members.

Duties will include, but are not limited to;

• Mowing greens, tees and fairways
• General spraying duties
• Application of fertilizer and renovation programs
• High level of project work

St. Michaels Golf Club provides a high level of work facilities and conditions. Work hours are 6.00 am - 2.30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 5.00 am - 9.00 am Thursday. A weekend roster is expected with added overtime available to all staff.
