Successful applicants first and foremost have a passion for sport. In particular, successful applicants will understand the intricacies involved in planning and running community sport.
Someone with intuition is also looked positively upon in the application process. In community sport, it is commonplace for volunteers/employees to wear multiple hats in terms of the roles they complete.
Sport Staff One is happy to negotiate casual hourly rates for successful candidates depending on their experience and availability. In some cases, they are also able to offer a travel levy to their staff.
Due to SSO's large network of sporting associations, their staff are privy to elite level courses for coaching/refereeing across multiple sports. This can be discussed at any times and will assist in successful applicants being offered more shifts. Possession of coaching and refereeing badges allows staff to pursue their individual career in these fields to an elite level.
