We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our newly created legal support team based out of our Darwin office and servicing our legal teams nationally.

This is an exciting opportunity to commence your career in a national law firm as part of a progressive and supportive team. As this is an entry-level role, full training will be provided to the successful candidates, so while some previous work experience will be advantageous; office or admin experience is not essential.

The successful applicant will carry out a range of administrative tasks as part of a team and will be required to follow strict guidelines and meet quality assurance targets. Tasks will include:

  • Creating client records and files
  • Closing and archiving completed files
  • Data entry
  • Client billing
  • Printing, scanning, photocopying and collating of documents
  • Supporting internal office services such as deliveries, maintenance of staff areas and consumables and relief support for reception and mailroom

These roles are suited to applicants who have an interest in a career in Business Administration and legal support.

The successful applicants will be enthusiastic and open-minded. They will demonstrate strong attention to detail and recognise the importance of the process. They will be proactive, task-oriented, motivated to always do their best and take pride in producing quality outcomes.

This presents an excellent entry level opportunity and will provide you with the skills to become competent administrative support professional. The team have a strong focus on continual improvement and operational efficiency so an interest in technology and automation would be a plus.

This is a newly created team and the successful applicants will communicate with a broad range of internal customers including senior administrative staff and legal teams. The successful candidates will require excellent oral and written communication skills to assist in establishing a reputation of quality output and high performance from this newly created legal support team.
